Volunteer for a stronger district 61

Join Shane Woodrum's campaign for the WV House of Delegates, District 61, and be part of a community-driven movement that puts people first. Your time and effort directly shape the future of our community. Every volunteer plays an important role in building a stronger District 61.

Get involved: connect with neighbors

Our campaign is people-powered, and there’s a role for everyone. Help us reach voters directly by participating in door-to-door canvassing, where you'll talk with neighbors, share information about the campaign, and listen to community concerns. We also need support with phone calls and texting to share updates, remind people about events, and encourage participation.

Support events & build community

Be a vital part of our community presence by helping at events. We need assistance at town halls, meet-and-greets, festivals, and other local gatherings with setup, sign-in, and greeting attendees. You can also contribute to community outreach efforts by helping us connect with local organizations, veterans groups, educators, and community leaders. Your presence helps us build stronger connections across District 61.

Behind-the-scenes & online support

Not all contributions are public-facing. You can make a huge impact through social media and online support by sharing posts, inviting friends to events, and helping spread the word online. We also welcome behind-the-scenes support for tasks like data entry, sign preparation, delivering materials, or organizing campaign supplies. No experience is required—just a willingness to help and a belief in putting people before politics. Whether you can help for an hour or a whole weekend, we’ll make it easy to get started.

"Your effort truly counts: helping shape a future where local voices come first."
